Unbeaten Toronto looks to top group in Leagues Cup play tonight
When Toronto FC takes to its home pitch tonight, the MLS soccer team will be looking to grab top spot in its group, in Leagues Cup action, taking on Pachuca.
The group, East 6, has been evenly matched to date. New York Red Bulls have played both Toronto and Pachuca to scoreless draws, going on to lose on penalty kicks. Despite the losses, New York remains in contention to advance, pending the outcome of tonight’s match.
Hopefully, Toronto can find the back in the net during regular time in this one. Any type of win will secure first place in the group.
The Leagues Cup is a continental tournament that involves clubs playing in Major League Soccer (Canada and USA) and Liga MX (Mexico). Clubs are divided into seven easy groups and right west groups.

Vancouver’s group, West 7, has completed play with the BC squad atop the table Vancouver finished with 5 points from its two games and a +2 goals differential.
