One of the super neat aspects of the Photos app on Mac is the Memories feature which highlights past photos by magically creating videos from them. Yesterday, the app created this one for me, well nearly, as I did change a few of the photos, but it certainly brought back memories of my work locally as the region’s sports journalist.
In this case, I was at Tagwi Secondary School for an October 11, 2012 football game that had the host Warriors taking on the visiting Glengarry Gaels.
Typically when I attended any game to shoot photos, I would capture dozens of images. This video is a compilation of 25 of these images.
For those interested, the Gaels prevailed 28-14 to win the Harvest Bowl.

Did you see any familiar faces in the video? Twelve years on, these young men would be all grown up now. Sadly, Tagwi’s football program died a few years later. The club at GDHS continued to play in various forms until this year, as the Gaels are not fielding a 2024 team.
